The Innovation Team of Mudflat Bioresource Protection and Utilization, Tobacco Research Institute of CAAS found that the amendment of functional biochar at proper rate increased the adsorption ability of soil to contaminate like atrazine, reduced their bioavailability and ultimately decreased their accumulation in plants. These results were helpful to develop the biochar remediation technology for soil contamination.
